Welcome to the River Valley District. The 4-H Staff is thrilled to have you and your family as a part of our growing 4-H community.

What is 4-H?

Once your Cloverbud turns seven, they officially join 4-H. In 4-H, we believe in the power of young people. We see that every child has valuable strengths as real influence to improve the world around us. 4-H is America’s largest youth development organization – empowering nearly six million young people across the U.S. and over 88,000 youth in Kansas with the skills to lead for a lifetime.

4-H is a research-based experience that include a mentor, a hands-on project, and a meaningful leadership opportunity for youth ages seven to eighteen (as of January 1).

To learn more about 4-H watch this short video.
